Conditions.
Clear expectations help every shipment move smoothly. These terms outline the general framework for enquiries, quotations and logistics services provided by GCC Cargo Service.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply when you use this website, request a quotation or engage GCC Cargo Service for freight forwarding, customs coordination, packing, storage, transport or related logistics services. By confirming a booking, you accept these terms together with the relevant quotation and transport documents.
2. Quotations and bookings
- Quotations are based on the information supplied by the customer and remain subject to capacity, equipment and route availability.
- Rates may change if weight, volume, dimensions, commodity, collection location, destination or required services differ from the original enquiry.
- A booking is confirmed only after written acceptance and any required payment or documentation.
3. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide complete and accurate shipment details, including the nature, quantity, value, dimensions and weight of the cargo, as well as correct shipper and consignee information. The customer is responsible for supplying all documents required by origin, transit and destination authorities.
4. Cargo, packing and restricted goods
Cargo must be packed, marked and labelled appropriately for the selected transport mode. Dangerous, hazardous, temperature-sensitive, high-value or restricted goods must be declared before booking and may require prior approval, specialist packing and additional charges. GCC Cargo Service may refuse cargo that is unsafe, prohibited or incorrectly declared.
5. Customs and regulatory compliance
Customs clearance is subject to inspection, documentation and the decisions of government authorities. Duties, taxes, fines, examination fees, storage and other official charges are normally payable by the customer unless the written quotation states otherwise.
6. Transit times and delivery
Transit and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, unless expressly confirmed in writing as a guaranteed service. Schedules may be affected by carrier changes, customs procedures, weather, port congestion, security events, public holidays and other circumstances outside reasonable control.
7. Charges, payment and storage
Invoices are payable according to the terms shown on the quotation or invoice. Additional costs caused by inaccurate information, failed collection or delivery, customs holds, demurrage, detention, storage, re-delivery or services requested after booking may be charged separately.
8. Liability, claims and insurance
Freight services may be performed by airlines, shipping lines, road carriers, warehouses and other independent providers whose transport conditions may apply. Liability can be limited by applicable law and international transport conventions. Customers should request cargo insurance where full-value protection is required. Any loss or damage should be reported promptly with supporting documents.
9. Website use, privacy and communications
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful content. Information provided through the website, email, telephone or WhatsApp will be used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and manage services in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Electronic communications are accepted as part of the booking and service process.
10. Governing law and contact
These general terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, subject to any mandatory transport convention or written agreement that applies to a particular shipment.
